The public is invited to a free presentation by Bud Ward on “Climate Change in Our Own Backyard” hosted by the Northern Neck Master Gardeners. The talk will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, at the Transportation Building, Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
Ward, a resident of White Stone, is an environmental journalist and educator with a career in natural resources and environmental issues. He is editor of Yale University’s “Yale Climate Connections.”
