The Kilmarnock UMC Clothes Bank will transition from summer to fall clothing after an open house from 5:30-7 p.m. September 10. Fill a bag or two with summer clothes and shoes before they’re gone.
The KUMC Free Clothes Bank will accept fall and winter clothing beginning October 1, reported publicity chairman Jo Manson. Gently used and new clothes can be donated from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Call the church for additional drop off arrangements, 435-1797.
The Free Clothes Bank is open on second Mondays and is part of KUMC’s Mission Community Outreach Program, she said.
