LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened June 8 with The Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

The case of Aaron D. Beale of Lancaster, charged with two felony probation violations, was continued to June 15.

The case of Phillip E. Dean of White Stone, charged with two felony probation violations, was continued to June 15.

Brandon M. Roberts of Lancaster, charged with felony probation violation, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months with 4 years and 8 months suspended.

The case of Kevin M. Edwards of Kilmarnock, charged with felony probation violation, was continued to August 3.

The case of Kimberly D. Benson of Lancaster, charged with felony distribution or selling schedule I/II drugs for profit, was dismissed.

The case of Jonte A. Towles of Lancaster, charged with three felony and one misdemeanor probation violations, was continued for judgement July 13.

The case of Desiree G. Mcgee of Chesapeake, charged with two felonies of failing to appear and grand larceny, was continued to July 20.

The case of Kenyan L. Watson of Chesapeake, charged with a felony of grand larceny, was continued for trial July 13.

The case of Dexter O. Sutton of Heathsville, charged with two felonies of strangulation resulting in injury and entering a house to commit assault and battery, was continued for trial July 20. Sutton also is charged with five misdemeanors including three counts of assault and battery on a family member, destruction of property and damaging a phone line to prevent calling 911.

The case of Laderah O. Daye of Heathsville, charged with three felony counts of embezzlement, was continued to June 15.

The case of Kelli R. Balderson of White Stone, charged with one count of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued to September 7.

The case of James W. Folan of Lancaster, charged with two felonies of grand larceny and unauthorized use of vehicle, was continued to July 13.

The case of Steve E. Robinson of Lancaster, charged with two felonies of aggregated sexual battery and two misdemeanors of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, was continued for trial August 17.

June 1 cases

Judge McKenney also presided over Lancaster County Circuit Court on June 1.

The case of Floyd D. Newton of Callao, charged with a felony probation violation, was continued to August 3.

Oriel P. Lee of Lancaster, charged with a felony probation violation, had her probation revoked.

The case of Maria F. Thompson of Cardinal, charged with one felony and two misdemeanors of a probation violation, was continued for review July 13.

The case of Judson N. McGuire of Irvington, charged with a felony and a misdemeanor probation violation, was continued for trial July 20.

Joshua T. Williams of Mathews, charged with two felonies, receiving goods through fraud and credit card larceny, pled guilty and was sentenced to 3 years with 2 years and 4 months suspended on the receiving goods charge and 5 years with 5 years suspended on the credit card larceny charge.

The case of Joshua E. Luckett of Saluda, charged with two felonies of grand larceny, was not prosecuted at the time of trial.

The case of James L. Sutton Sr. of White Stone, charged with a felony of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued for trial August 3.

The case of Lacey R. Michalak of Farnham, charged with a felony of embezzlement, was set for trial August 17.

The case of Ernesto H. Moreno of Warsaw, charged with a felony of grand larceny, was set for trial August 3.

The case of Matthew G. Stevens of Farnham, charged with a felony of not reporting accident damage and a misdemeanor of reckless driving, was continued for trial June 21.
