Robert N. Gibson
NEWPORT NEWS—Robert N. Gibson, 97, of Newport News passed away early Saturday.
Long a resident of Weems, he survived his two beloved spouses Ione George Gibson of Weems and Mary Willey Gibson of Irvington.
A Marine veteran of Iwo Jima, he is survived by his sons, Robert N. Gibson and Jeffrey A. Gibson; and a grandson, Andrew Hunter Gibson.
Funeral services will be at Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Friday.
