1957 Chevy Bel Air picked most popular at Heathsville car show

Matt Gutmann and his 1957 Chevy Bel Air won the most popular trophy and a bag of chocolate cookies.

A classic beauty, Matt Gutmann’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air won the most popular award at the Antique and Classic Car Show Saturday, August 22, at the Heathsville Farmers Market at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlet’s Tavern.

While threatening skies dampened participation, intrepid car owners proudly displayed their vehicles, said executive director Patricia M. Reilly. Market visitors voted for their favorite.

The Kilmarnock and District Bagpipe Band performed while votes were counted. At the conclusion of the concert, the band surrounded Gutmann’s ’57 Chevy to announce….
