As the 2025-26 indoor track season is just getting underway, Lancaster High School honored the 2024-25 Virginia High School League Class 1 state champions.
Members of the Lancaster High School 2024-25 Class 1 champion boys indoor track team, along with individual champions from the girls team, received their state rings Saturday, December 27. Coaches and athletes attending the ceremony from left were (front row) Josh Woolard, McKenzie Dagner, Angelina Smith, Grace Lawrence, Courtney Johnson and Alexis Kelley; (next row) coach Draper Washington, Zaden Veney, DeAndra Newton, Brady Vanlandingham, Brooks Parker, Tyler Rhodes, Amonti Jackson, William Ball, Porter Pittman, Jahlil Hebbons, Tylan Lee and assistant coach Markus Ferguson.
Coaches and members of the LHS boys championship team, along with individual girls champions, were honored on Saturday, December 27. Team members received their state rings during a ceremony at halftime of a Red Devils boys basketball game against Rappahannock.
