241 Baseball League returns to the diamond

The 241 Baseball League, for players 13-16, has returned to area ballparks for a second summer. The regular season opened July 12 and games will continue through September 28.

There are more than 100 players on eight teams, including two from Middlesex and one each from Gloucester, Mathews, Richmond, Lancaster and Northumberland counties and Williamsburg.

Games are played at 7 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at either Deltaville Ballpark, 100 Ball Park Road, Deltaville, or Dream Fields…
