Thanks to the town of Kilmarnock, dozens of volunteers and multiple community partners the recent Vacs and Backs event was successful.
On August 21, the community came together for a vaccination clinic and backpack distribution at Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock. Lisa Laurier of the Virginia Department of Health, Three Rivers Health District and her team administered Pfizer vaccinations.
