POTOMAC. MD—Geanie Stokes Henley, 81, of Potomac, Md., passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born on December 3, 1944, in Washington, D.C., Geanie was the beloved daughter of James and Eloise McGlothlin and cherished sister of James, Robert and Janice McGlothlin.
Geanie is survived by husband, John Henley; daughters, Brenda Stokes Quinlisk, Debbie Stokes and Lisa Stokes; as well as sister, Janice Washko, and their families.
Geanie’s life was a testament to love, faith, resilience and the power of community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
