The Band From Misfit Beach on Sunday, May 17, played a benefit concert for the Deltaville Maritime Museum & Holly Point Nature Park. The event raised over $6,500.
The group of retirees plays party music for charities in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. Last year, the band raised over $40,000. Almost $20,000 has been raised thus far this year.
The Band From Misfit Beach will next perform from 3-6 p.m. June 7 at Tiki Windmill, 56 Windjammer Lane, White Stone. Donations will be accepted for the Lancaster County Keepsafe Program.
