Chesapeake Academy (CA) in Irvington held commencement exercises for the Class of 2026 and their families on Tuesday, June 2, in the shade of trees surrounding the soccer field.
After an invocation by 2025-26 Student Council president Louisa Goodrich, head of school Catherine L. Emery welcomed the school community.
Emery addressed each of the matriculating students individually, noting personal highlights, growth, aspirations and fond memories. Most importantly, she conveyed the school’s affection for these graduates and confidence in their preparation as they….
