SAINT MARYS, GA—Don Self, formerly of Fredericksburg and Weems, passed away on July 9, 2026, in Saint Marys, Georgia.
Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith S. Self; his parents, Vernie F. Self and Robert J. Self; and his stepmother, Katherine H. Self.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Janice M. Self; two sons, Donald P. Self Jr. (Betty) and Shannon L. Self; a daughter, Kimberly S. Moulds (Bill); and a fantastic stepdaughter, Melissa Cooper Kaila (Robert); 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
