The Northern Neck Rotary Club on Saturday, July 11, held its hallmark fundraising event, the Poker Run, on the Rappahannock River.
The club thanks and congratulates the winning teams, reported Scott Hancock.
Prize winners were first, Capt. Heather Madison and crew, $5,000; second, Capt. Ty Chappell and crew, $1,000; and third, Capt. Tom Spiers and crew, $500.
Twenty-four teams competed in the 2026 Poker Run, said Hancock. Funds raised from crew entries are used to fund community grants to area organizations. Recently, the Northern Neck Rotary Club announced 19 grant recipients for 2025-26 totaling $34,000.
