Some 50 students attend Vacation Bible School at Irvington Baptist
Vacation Bible School concluded with the students sharing their adventure with the church family during the morning worship service on Sunday, July19. During the closing exercise, the students presented pastor John Farmer a beautiful wooden cross they made for him and decorated with all their hand prints.
Irvington Baptist Church held Vacation Bible School July 13-17 with 50 students enrolled, supported by 22 adult teachers and volunteers.
The theme was “Emerald Crossing,” an Irish adventure through Psalm 23. Students learned about sheep, pastures and shepherds, with a special emphasis on David, the Shepherd Boy, and Jesus, The Good Shepherd.
