WEEMS—More boating, fishing and aquaculture are on the way to Carter Cove as Lancaster County on Friday, July 17, broke ground on the latest park project.
When completed in spring of 2027, the Carter Cove County Park, 212 Carter’s Cove Drive, Weems, will include a boat ramp, kayak launch, nature trails, a fishing pier, picnic shelter and a pavilion with seating for educational programs about aquaculture, according to John Bateman, assistant county administrator.
