
A new beat is coming to town. It’s not Motown, waltz, hip-hop, or even swing. It’s the rhythm of the tango.
From 7-9 p.m. August 29, at Grace Church in Kilmarnock, both novices and long-time tango enthusiasts will experience the draw of this dance that has roots in Africa, Spain and Argentina and became popular in the U.S. in the early 1900s, reported Ginger Philbrick.
