Eastern Virginia Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will partner with American Legion Post 86 host its first Ride for CERT Motorcycle Poker Run September 19 to support disaster preparedness across the Northern Neck.
The event aligns with National CERT Month, honoring CERT volunteers nationwide who strengthen community resilience, said executive director Julie Dudley.
Riders will gather at 8:30 a.m. at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock. Riders will depart the park at 9 a.m. and gather cards at Newsome’s in Burgess, Tootsie’s in Callao, Nooners in Gloucester and final stop Compass Entertainment Center, Irvington for food, drink, winning hand and 50/50…..
