The Rappahannock River Yacht Club (RRYC) will host its annual Halloween Spooktacular decorated boat parade on October 17.
The parade will follow the same format as in previous years, reported Joseph Hotard. Boats will gather on the Eastern Branch of Carter Creek off Custom Yacht Service for a 4:30 p.m. start and will be guided by RRYC boats. The parade route will take boats past RRYC docks for judging and proceed past The Tides Inn.
Boats will be judged in a variety of fun categories such as spookiest, most imaginative and best costumes, said Hotard.
