Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported there were no felony or misdemeanor charges filed.

Activity report

August 31: Staff responded to the 90 block of Levelfields Lane for threats.

September 1: Staff responded to the 8000 block of River Road for a civil complaint.

September 2: Staff responded to Devils Bottom Road for debris in the highway, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for threats, to the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a disabled vehicle, and to the 2000 block of Lowery Creek Road for a domestic disturbance.

September 3: Staff responded to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, to Lumberlost Road for a disabled vehicle, and to the 50 block of Thomas Landing Road for a larceny.

September 4: Staff responded to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for a multiple-vehicle traffic crash, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for threats, and to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a scam.

September 5: Staff responded to Buzzards Neck Road for a downed tree, to the 11000 block of Courthouse Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 40 block of Windjammer Lane for an assault.

September 6: Staff responded to the 50 block of Meadowlark Lane for a noise complaint.

Staff also conducted 23 traffic stops, issued 10 summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded three deer strike accidents, handled two requests for traffic control, investigated two building alarms, processed three mental health orders, logged an inmate transport and received 14 E911 hang up calls.

Fire calls

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on York Road, to a multiple-vehicle traffic crash on Norris Bridge, and to an electrical burn smell on Cedar Pointe Drive.

Kilmarnock VFD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on South Drive.

Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash on Courthouse Road.
