A little heat, humidity and a few sprinkles early in the evening didn’t dampen the fun Friday, September 4, at Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock. The Deloreans, a high-energy ‘80s tribute band rocked the Half Shell Stage. The ’80s Labor Day Weekend event included a movie in the park on Thursday, September 3, an ‘80s icon cutout selfie tour at businesses throughout Steptoe’s District, a costume contest, a vintage DeLorean automobile on display, after concert parties at West Church Street establishments and ‘80s throwback hits aired on 101.7 Bay FM.
