Free health clinic celebrates impact and expansion of the HOPE Initiative

In recognition of National Recovery Month, Bradley Free Clinic and the Virginia Association of Free & Charitable Clinics celebrated the 10th anniversary of the HOPE Initiative, a peer recovery support program that has helped thousands of people experiencing substance use disorder find connections, resources and pathways to recovery.

Northern Neck Middlesex Free Health Clinic (NNMFHC) in Kilmarnock was represented by Sam Turner, PRS/CHW, and accepted an award for its involvement with the HOPE Initiative as one of the first five free clinics to expand the program through the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield grant.
