The Bookshelf on Church, 28 West Church Street, Kilmarnock, is hosting a Back-to-School Book Drive to support the students and libraries of Ukraine. The goal is to fill a pallet with 500 books to ship to Ukraine this fall. The drive runs through October 31.
The Bookshelf on Church has a long-standing mission of getting books to kids, and its partnership with Matchbook Marketing already had that mission at its core. When Matchbook chief executive officer Gwyn Ridenhour moved to Ukraine this past year and founded Vinok Libraries, extending the partnership to support her new organization was a natural next step.
