In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club lady golfers recently closed their 2026 season with an inaugural event called Fore the Girls. This included a 9-hole scramble, a fundraising raffle, silent auction and luncheon. The 9-hole and 18-hole ladies played and raised over $10,000. The funds will be used to award a Nursing Scholarship to a student enrolled at Rappahannock Community College. They hope Fore the Girls will become an annual event, raising more money for additional scholarships. Winners from left are Jeanine Marino, Kay Ruhf, Lisa Hudnall and Kylie Bransford.
