IRVINGTON—Hortence Marie Campbell Waddy of Irvington died May 21, 2018.
She was born October 10, 1947, to the late Thelma E. Johnson and the late Wallace E. Campbell of Kilmarnock.
Hortence was educated in Northumberland County schools. She was a Jehovah Witness.
She also was predeceased by her husband, Ostin Waddy; and a brother, Arthur Campbell.
She is survived by daughters Stacy and Monica Waddy of Irvington; step-daughters Tammy and Twala; stepson Ternell; brother Harold Campbell of Baltimore, Md.; and sisters Theresa Waddy and Pathenia Smith, both of Baltimore, Eleanor Wiggins of Wicomico, and Elaine Curry, Edna Adams and Kathy Campbell, all of Kilmarnock.
A service was held May 25 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehova’s Witnesses, Heathsville.
