The RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, recently announced special events for August.
Fins, Feathers & Fur, an exhibit featuring original works by RAL members will open July 31 and continue through August 25, reported Barbara Pulling of the communications committee.
A First Friday Art Reception, from 5 to 7 p.m. August 3, will showcase the exhibit. The public is invited to visit the center, meet exhibiting artists and enjoy light refreshments, said Pulling.
An Adult Paint Night will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. August 17. The instructor will be Marilyn Sprouse and the topic will be folk art painting.
