KILMARNOCK—Ronald Rice Pouchot, 80, of Kilmarnock died on August 3, 2018. He was a Marine Corp veteran, a member of Kilmarnock Baptist Church and past Chief for the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by two children, Colette Hudson (Billy) of Kilmarnock and Troy Pouchot of Gloucester; grandchildren, Rebecca, Mathew and Joshua (Ashly) Hudson and Erika Wilmoth (Robert); great-grandchildren, Rylyn and Luke Wilmoth and Lydia Hudson; sister, Ginger Fagles (Richard) of Maryland; sister-in-law, Marian Pouchot of Gloucester; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Roberta W. Pouchot; his parents, Ed and Helen Pouchot; and his brother, Rev. David Pouchot.
Ronnie was a retired salesman for T.W. Bonner Inc. In his post retirement, he worked for Ransone’s Nursery.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, at Kilmarnock Baptist Church, Kilmarnock. Interment followed the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 6, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
