Ferrell Palmer Jr.

BROWNS STORE—Ferrell Palmer Jr. died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at his residence “On the Hill” in Browns Store.

He was born January 9, 1926, to the late Blanche Nutt Palmer and Ferrell Palmer Sr. He was educated in Northumberland County and was a member of First Baptist Church, Heathsville.

Mr. Palmer was a World War II veteran, honorably discharged in May 1946. He was married to Classie Mae Daye.

He is survived by his children, Flossie Brooks, Blanche Thompson, Darlene Walters, John Wayne Palmer, Sherren Ball (Jerry Ball), Kernell Palmer and Garnette Rice; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cheryl, Terry, Corey, Shaketia, Ursula, Purcell, Darryn, Delvin, Antwan, LaShonda, Terrance, Avery, Keyia, Solomon, Brittany and Darryl; 44 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Joseph and David of Syracuse, N.Y.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Gayle.

A service was held Saturday, December 15, at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
