KILMARNOCK—Some 300 parents, teachers and concerned citizens filled the LCPS Annex February 12.
Some came to express support for District 2 school board member Kenya Moody, who is facing criticism over her calls for greater racial equity in the school system.
Others were there to support superintendent Dr. Steven Parker, who was facing rumors at the time of the meeting that the school board would not renew his contract (see related story).
