On March 19, members of Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club presented representatives of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck a $75,000 donation.
The club’s donation to this very worthy cause represented repayment of a loan from long-time club member Jones Felvey, reported membership services coordinator Megan Stephens.
Felvey loaned the club this money to help make possible the creation of the Skipjack bar and lounge, said Stephens. It was his wish that the repayment go to the Boys & Girls Club.
