The 2019-20 Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts (RFA) On Stage season will open September 22 with the Steep Canyon Rangers. The concert will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
The Asheville, N.C.-based sextet will deliver its dynamic bluegrass sound mixed with gospel, a cappella and extraordinary instrumental finesse, reported RFA president Jamie Tucker.
“Steep Canyon Rangers has grown in popularity, releasing several new albums since its last performance here in 2016,” said Tucker. “They are RFA A-listers and we feel extremely lucky to have their big bus roll in to Kilmarnock to kick off our season.”
