The Kilmarnock United Methodist Church (KUMC) children’s ministry hosted a “Sunday School Kick Off” to welcome their students back on Sunday, September 8.
Students enjoyed a hot breakfast, Sunday school activities, ribbon dances and a blessing of the book bags.
“KUMC offers classes for infancy through high school aged children,” said director Mary Lorenzino. “We start Sunday School each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Children’s Music at 10:30 a.m. Children can feel at home while learning stories from the Bible which are then put into practice with activities and take home worksheets.
“We also offer a young adults class for parents. We hope that if you’re looking for a fun, safe place for your family to learn about God’s teachings, that you will stop by this Sunday,” she said.
KUMC is at 89 East Church Street, Kilmarnock.
