The Northern Neck Orchestra will present its first concert of the 2019-20 season at 8 p.m. November 15 at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock. A pre-concert talk by music director Michael Repper will begin at 7:15 p.m.
The concert will showcase Suite of Dances by African-American composer Florence Price whose recently rediscovered compositions have gained new prominence. It also will feature Handel’s classic Royal Fireworks Music and Mussorgsky’s vivid Pictures at an Exhibition.
