Rappahannock Community College (RCC) will celebrate its 50th anniversary from 1-4 p.m. January 11, with an open house at the Glenns Campus, 12745 College Drive, Glenns.
The Hon. R. Michael “Mike” McKenney, a 1982 graduate of RCC, will speak at 1:30 p.m. Faculty, staff, past presidents and alumni will be recognized.
Novelist Brad Parks will present “The Education of a Writer” at 3 p.m. in the RCC Lecture Hall. He will meet with fans and sign books from 3:45- 5 p.m. in the RCC library.
