Virginia State Parks are open for hiking, camping and other activities. Some restrictions apply due to the COVID-19 virus. Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster, offers almost 10 miles of trails.
Park manager Katie Shepard reminds visitors fees are still in effect, and they greatly support all State Parks operations. During this time, she asks that people bring cash or check and use the honor pay station to pay their daily parking fees.
