All hope has not been lost for spring sport athletes wanting to play one last game, according to a recent release from the Virginia High School League (VHSL).
Following Gov. Ralph Northam’s declaration on March 23 to close schools for the remainder of the year, VHSL’s Crisis Management Team met March 24 and decided to delay until May making any decision related to considering any summer play options for spring sports. The traditional season has been canceled.
