Irvington vineyard, food bank team up

The Dog and Oyster Vineyard in Irvington recently launched a fundraising drive to help the needy and hungry in Lancaster, Northumberland, Middlesex, Essex, Richmond and Westmoreland counties.

Starting Thursday, April 23, The Dog and Oyster will donate $5 of every bottle sold to Healthy Harvest Food Bank in Warsaw, reported co-owner Dudley Patteson. The funds will help purchase food for those in need. Healthy Harvest is now feeding 12,000 people every month—roughly the population of Lancaster County. This is expected to climb even more.
