Northern Neck Orchestra music director Michael Repper is the recipient of a prestigious national award to further develop the talent and careers of young U.S. conductors.
Repper is among 19 recipients of The Sir Georg Solti Career Assistance Awards that recognize the exceptional talent and promise of conductors who are in the early stages of their professional careers.
“Michael’s artistry and energy continue to make each concert of our orchestra a memorable one,” said Ammon G. Dunton Jr., chairman of the orchestra. “We are delighted that he is receiving national recognition for his outstanding talents.”
