I Spy weekly camps continue at Chesapeake Academy

Chesapeake Academy’s I Spy Treasure Camp is all about pirates: Treasure hunts, pirate books, parrot crafts, and pirate yoga are just the beginning for Camp Irvington’s motley and merry masked crew. Noel Wessinger, June Nichols and Zoe Plakas work on pirate maps and books while Isaac and Penn Charlton, Eli Messinger and Cosmo Duncan secure the ship.

Camp Irvington will continue from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. through August 14 at Chesapeake Academy, 107 Steamboat Road, Irvington. The camp is for ages 4-10.

For safety reasons, camp will be based primarily on the Chesapeake Academy campus, with an occasional trip to an open beach or park where all social distancing protocols can be safely followed, reported head of school Julianne T. Duvall.

Parents will be notified at the start of each week of any planned off-campus trips. Weekly “I Spy” themes will create a dynamic and fun…
