A visit to The Fin & Pearl Boutique in Burgess is sure to make customers happy. It’s nearly impossible not to smile when greeted by the joyful array of colors at the new clothing and home decor store in Northumberland County.
Hues of water-color aqua, sky blue, sunshine orange and pansy pinks are a feast for the eyes. Even the walls are bright and cheery.
A sneak peek inside the store the day before its ribbon cutting and grand opening Tuesday revealed owners Karen and Fred Burke of Kilmarnock and a handful of employees busy at work putting the final touches on the store at 684B Jessie DuPont Memorial Highway, Burgess. The building formerly housed Dream’s Fashion Boutique.
