Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club held its ninth annual Ryder Cup Team Matches July 11-12.
Six teams of eight players played four various formats of 9-hole matches, reported head golf professional Mike Mayer. The 48-player field endured some scorching heat and exceptional competition.
Jere Litsinger, Ruth Thomas, Chris Maxwell, Barbara Fentress, Rick Saunders, Dianne Saunders and Ted Kattmann, placed first with 46 points.
