Both children and adults are invited to do their Christmas shopping at “Golden Village Christmas” Saturday, December 5. This annual celebration of Christmastide—from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville—also will include caroling, free hot mulled cider, a bake sale and visits with Santa.
On the Tavern Green, vendors will sell jewelry, knitted items, face masks, pottery and seasonal CDs, reported director Corinne Anthony Becker. Decorative door swags and other holiday greenery will be for sale by Tavern volunteers.
