Northumberland plans COVID-19 vaccinations for school employees

CLARAVILLE—Northumberland school superintendent Dr. Holly Wargo on Monday, January 11, indicated the school system is partnering with the county emergency services department to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for school employees. The announcement came during the virtual school board meeting.

Dr. Wargo said 175 of the Moderna two-part vaccines have been requested and will likely be administered in the middle and high school complex, with more information to come regarding when they will be available.

She also anticipates in-person hybrid learning will resume Tuesday, January 19, but will continue to monitor case numbers closely.
