KILMARNOCK—Gloria Lee Jones, 83, of Kilmarnock passed away January 9, 2021. She was the widow of James B. “Jimmy” Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Jones (Rosie) and Donnie Jones, both of Kilmarnock; grandchildren, P. J. Jones (Jessica) of White Stone, Jason Jones of White Stone and Brittany Jones of New Hampshire; three great-grandchildren, Peyton Jones, Parker Jones and Susanna Jones Freburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Susanna Megan Jones.
Gloria was a member of Irvington Baptist Church where she played the organ for 33 years, She retired from Tri-Star Supermarket.
Gloria enjoyed the outdoors doing gardening and cutting her grass.
Graveside services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, January 12, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock. Family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, January 11 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
