Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced special events for February.
NPL will present “A Virtual Celebration of Local Black History,” reported Pamela Hagy. On Mondays, NPL will post on its YouTube Channel videos featuring area students enrolled in college and high school discussing the Black Lives Matter movement and the pandemic.
At 10 a.m. today, February 4, NPL will host “Story Time at the Library.” The topic will be “How will Porcupine spread love on Valentine’s Day?” Participants will make a Valentines craft, said Hagy.
