Four-day in person learning begins Monday in Northumberland schools

HEATHSVILLE— The Northumberland school board on Monday, March 8, heard updates regarding in-person learning and athletics.

School superintendent Dr. Holly Wargo reported that beginning Monday, March 15, the schools will implement a four-day, in-person school week. All students will continue to learn remotely on Wednesdays.

Dr. Wargo said there is now a waiting list for students who would like to physically come back to the classroom. There are 13 students on the waiting list for the elementary school, five for the middle school and 10 for the high school.
