West Point wins cross country meet

Despite not producing the individual champions, West Point High School posted the low scores to win both the girls and boys cross country races at the Hills Quarter trail last Friday.

Lancaster hosted the tri-meet to open its season and had the individual medalists with junior Michael Foulkes winning his first meet in 20:02 and junior Hailey Smith winning the girls meet 22:14. Lancaster senior Marshall Lee was the runner-up in…
