Northumberland board adopts several resolutions

HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland board of supervisors on May 13 passed a number of resolutions recognizing people and organizations for their contributions in the county.

The board recognized the work involved in the clean-up and recovery after the May 3 tornado.

Del. Margaret Ransone presented Virginia state flags flown over the Capitol to Chief Brian Woolard of the Callao Volunteer Fire Department, Northumberland Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp and Northern Neck Electric Cooperative chief executive officer Brian Hicks.
