Donations of new and gently-used gifts are needed by Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern for the Golden Village Christmas event December 4 at the Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
During this annual celebration, the Tavern offers a special $1 children’s shopping area. Children ages 4-12 shop without their parents, paying $1 per gift for family members. Tavern “elves” wrap and tag the presents so that everyone is truly surprised on Christmas morning.
