Northumberland High School graduate Loren Messick LaPorte, who rose to the athletic limelight last spring by taking the James Madison University (JMU) softball team to the Women’s College World Series, will serve as one of the honorary grand marshals of Dominion Energy’s Christmas Parade in Richmond.
The parade will air live on WTVR-CBS Channel 6 at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 4. It will also rebroadcast on Christmas Day.
