Susan Johnson of InsideOut Yoga will co-lead a core workshop with retired physical therapist Ginger Houck from 9:30 a.m.-noon January 30 at the Northern Neck Family YMCA, 39 William B. Graham Court, Kilmarnock.
The workshop fee is $40 and partial proceeds benefit the Guardian Program.
“If there’s one thing Ginger and I have learned in our yoga and PT practices, it’s that core is everything,” said Johnson. “In this workshop, you’ll learn how, why and when to engage your core muscles as well as ways to keep your low back healthy and happy. It’s open to adults of all ages and no experience is necessary.”
